The amazing girl up there is my best friend Krystal.
I don't have much to say today, but I am excited to tell you that my summer vacation starts in 2 days! I plan to do a lot this summer, job and fashion wise and I can't wait. I intend on working, and opening up an online store to sell the clothing items I make. What are your summer plans?

- Happy Tuesday xx

Hang Loose~

( Shirt - Hanes, Shorts - Maverick, Shoes - NIKE's, Bag - pinkbullet )

At my school, I hate it during this time of year where the weather is really nice and I pull out my shorts, tanks, dresses, short sleeves, etc. because It's always freezing inside, so it defeats the purpose of wearing spring/summer ready clothes. It'll be 80 degrees outside, but 55 inside. Impossible to sit in class comfortably without squirming around because of the unreasonably high air conditioning. Still, I take risks.

I saw a dead jackrabbit today behind this building close to my school. There's always dead jackrabbits, but usually in the middle of streets. It creeps me out in this fascinating way..when I see dead animals, it's disgusting, but I can't help but stare at it for moments at a time and take pictures. Last weekend I actually saw the skeleton of one in the bushes while walking with my best friend. There's so many fields out here, so yeah, they are everywhere.

-Happy Tuesday!

I brought back out my favorite Nikes. I haven't worn them since before the summer of 2010, it felt good to wear them again. I paired them with my Flannel, in which I sewed on some denim sleeves to add a little extra to them. It was ridiculously hot later in the day because of the flannel. My whole outfit is pretty much DIY.

(Earrings - From my aunt, I have no clue where she got them. Beanie- Wally World, Leggings- Target, Nikes - I don't remember)

Ombre Chic

Today my friend Adriana wore a Ombre dyed oversized sweater to school, and I loved it so much that I thought I'd make a post on how much I adore the Ombre trend. I've been seeing it a lot recently and it has me wanting to try out dyeing my denim jacket and a couple pair of high waist shorts for the spring/summer. I've always been a huge fan of Tie Dye, so this trend has really caught my eye. It's sort of similar, but then not similar at all. It always looked complicated to me to create the Ombre effect, but now that I know how to do it, I think I'll go for it! I'm really excited, and as soon as I get around to doing it I'll post them up. Above are a few Ombre dyed pieces that are inspirational to me. They are all on Etsy.com for sale right now.
