As NYFW is coming along, I'm seeing so many pieces from collections that I love love love so much, that I want to blog about it immediately. But I'm holding back, and I think I'll just do a super inspiration post from my favorite things I've seen. That's going to be crazy long though. Ugh. I don't know. 

Well anyways, today  is coming along pretty chill. I'm excited for our homecoming events approaching so quickly at school. I can't wait for the rally, the game, the dance...everything. I'm excited about literally every bit of it all and I'm ready to live up my last Homecoming. I want to help out for costumes for my Senior Class's halftime show so I think I will. I have my dress for the dance already and I want to blog about that but I don't want it to be seen till the day of (which is the 29th) so yeah..That's going to have to wait. I'm ordering my shoes today which I'm REALLY REALLY excited for. 

What I'm wearing above is all pretty simple. The necklace is one of my favorite ones that I have, which my friend Mercedes gave me during summer break. It goes with pretty much everything I have which I love. When I'm not wearing my Yin and Yang one I'm most likely wearing this necklace!

Inspiration Post: Gold Rush

Usually I don't go for gold, but recently I've been all over it. It's something about gold accessories that have caught my eye more than normal. I'm a silver kind of girl. Most of my accessories and such are silver, although I have a few gold items. From shoes to necklaces, to nail polishes, to bags, gold has been making a bold statement to me recently. I plan on getting a lot of gold accessories for my back to school wardrobe. My mom has always been a lover of gold, so luckily I can steal a few of her things to wear.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that

I'm in the process of dyeing and painting a denim button down shirt. Well, as you all can see, the dyeing part is finished, now I just have to paint on it. I was thinking of painting an alien head on the pocket (I have an obsession with aliens), or doing something big and out there on the back. Not to sure about that one yet. I also snazzed up my plain forest green crewneck with a little color remover- which is how I got the yellow dyed effect. I miss the winter season so much..ahh..my favorite articles of clothing that I have are for the colder seasons, and being that I live in Sacramento they are a complete no go during the summer. 

I also wanted to show you all one of my most prized possessions: my craft box. My grandma gave this to me my freshman year and It has so many craft essentials in it. One of my hobbies is making jewelry, so this always comes in handy for me!
